I love Photoshop for many reasons. It can definitely be misused and abused, but it is also an incredible tool for creating fantastic images.
If you have ever tried photographing siblings together, you know you have a slight challenge ahead… And depending on the ages of the siblings, that challenge can either be easy or a little on the more difficult side.
At this particular session, I knew that I didn’t need to “force” both siblings to sit next to each other and try and get a smile from them… Instead, I shot them both separately, keeping space where the other would be composited later in Photoshop. Fun, huh?! 
If you have been wanting to learn how to do composite editing in Photoshop, I highly recommend checking out National Association of Photographer Professionals at: http://www.photoshopuser.com/ It is an INCREDIBLE resource in learning all kinds of tips and tricks in Photoshop.

Every mommy-to-be that I get to meet is absolutely gorgeous! They are beaming with excitement over the {new life} that is growing inside their tummy and it is such a privilege to be able to capture this incredible road to parenthood that they are on.
This elegent and beauuuuuutiful couple came to our new studio about a week ago for their maternity session. I had SO much fun meeting and getting to know them! Edith & Rafael were referred to me by one of my bridal clients, Ryan & Christina, whose wedding I shot last fall. Here is a sneak peek from their session. I can’t wait to meet their little boy soon! Sweet little Evan came to our new studio last weekend for his 1-Year session while still in its raw state. It was SO fun for me to kick off the new space with his session. He was a little sleepy when he first arrived and wanted some snuggles with Mommy & Daddy, which is totally understood.
He even dosed off for a minute while capturing a few images with his mommy. {totally loved this moment!}
But after a while, he perked up and became a total ham for the camera. Mommy & Daddy helped as well =) Oh how I wish I had video of this session. It still makes me giggle!

Generally, when I photograph newborns, they are under 12 days old. But I am not one to turn away a baby because of “age” and had such a wonderful time chatting with his mommy & daddy as well as photographing is cuteness! Here’s a sneak peek from his session.

There is so much joy in being able to connect and walk with so many parents throughout their child’s first year. In this case, I have had the wonderful opportunity of documenting not only their first sweet little boy, but baby boy #2, Mr. Nolan.
It is so fun to pull out one of the props used in baby’s newborn shoot and use it again through baby’s first year to show how they have grown!
Mr. Nolan is growing up to be one handsome little dude!!! He has the sweetest smile and is just so snuggly!
Big brother even got in on the action and did such a great job!!!
