It was approximately 4 years ago that my husband and I were out to dinner… I recognized one of the servers who cheerfully came over and said “HI!” He started telling us about his girlfriend and his plans to propose. So, I did what most photographers would do, I handed him my business card :) At that time, I didn’t even know we went to the same church!

Later on, I got to meet the lovely Courtney… and was ecstatic for them when they became engaged and truly honored when they asked me to be their wedding photographer!

Radiant | Vancouver, WA Maternity Photographer

The weather could not have been more perfect, especially with the sporadic showers we had already experienced the day before. The weather could not have been more perfect, especially with the sporadic showers we had already experienced the day before. The Cottonwood trees were also blooming like crazy, sending little buffs of cotton seed into the breeze, which gently floated to the ground.

I had so much fun with Kathy at her maternity session. Not only is she an absolutely radiant mommy-to-be, but she is also my sister-in-law carrying my nephew! I can’t wait to meet him mid-August… But in the meantime, here is a beautiful sneak peek of her session. Enjoy!

Awwww, I love photographing expectant mommies and daddies. It is so much fun to hear the antcipication and excitement that is in their voices as they wait for the arrival of their sweet little one.

Right before this sweet couple’s session, I watched the clouds as they began to roll in… Uh-oh, I thought… We REALLY don’t have time to reschedule thier session because of rain since Cassie is 39-weeks along and baby could show up any minute. THANKFULLY ~ we had a break in the rain for about 30 minutes and then shot a little bit in the rain as well. It wasn’t until it started thundering and tree branches started falling that we decided to venture back to the studio! =)

I can’t wait to meet their sweet little girl when she arrives… But until then, here’s a fun sneak peek of the maternity session. Enjoy!

Seriously, I have the cutest clients ever!

Little Miss Addison visited the studio earlier this week for her 6 month session, and it was so fun to see her again! I first met her at her newborn session while she was just an itty-bitty and have had the privilege of watching her grow throughout the months. You wouldn’t think I would be shocked anymore how much these little ones change, but I still am, even when I saw Addison at her 3 month session.
