I absolutely LOVE photographing expectant mommies. It is one of my FAVORITE aspects of my job. The amazing miracle of life that is taking place at that very instant is truly awesome, and it is always such a joy to be able to document this moment in my client’s lives.
There is something so sculpturally gorgeous with the pregnant form. For me, capturing maternity portraits is not just about the road to parenthood, but also showing my clients how incredibly beautiful they are.
I had such a wonderful time meeting this beautiful mommy-to-be and her husband and can’t wait to meet their sweet little girl when she arrives!! Until then, here’s a fun sneak peek from her session! Enjoy!

I first had the lovely privilege of photographing this sweet family two years ago when their oldest son was just a few days old… And when I received word that their second son, Owen, was born, I was ecstatic! I soooo enjoy being a part of my client’s life journeys!

A few months ago I had the wonderful privilege of photographing my beautiful sister-in-law’s maternity portraits. She was absolutely radiant for her session and I had so much fun documenting this amazing time in both her life and my brothers.
Then, 9-days ago my sweet nephew Kai was born! My schedule was jammed packed, but thanks to my amazing clients, I was able to reschedule and move things around to be able to head down to Vancouver, WA to take his newborn portraits. I could have held him for hooooooours!
