I love Engagement Sessions. They are a great way for me to get to know my Bride & Grooms behind the camera before their wedding day as well as a fun way for them to let lose and have amongst the busy planning.

Like any portrait session, there is no need to be “matcy-matchy.” However, what IS important, particularly with an Engagement Session, is to take what you are wearing for your session up a notch. Guys, that means “dressing up” a little outside of the lounge wear of shorts and T-shirts. And Ladies, this is your opportunity to be cute-n-sassy as if you’re headed out for a night on the town.

Make sure to keep a color pallete in mind (see ideas below) when pulling your outfits together so you look coordinated, yet not “matchy-matchy.” And most of all, HAVE FUN with this!!! =)
